This months wavelength has a full 5 page profile on Ian Battrick. As you probably know by now Ian is an awesome surfer and outright legend, taking Doc and Aviso surfboards all over the globe, charging hard and pruducing some of the best footage and pics we have ever seen. The promise of a few hours of potential in an otherwise crappy week gave us the perfect excuse for a dawny. The waves were really funky but the Aviso Cordell Dragster was enjoying the challenge and took me through some nice turns…..

If your going to ride a stand up paddle board you may as well ride the best. This a review I came across the other day from Ke Nalu of the Titus SUP. This really is a unique board excelling in flat water and big waves alike, if I had the money I know I’d have one..! Here’s some shots of the awesome new Cole Fireblade in Ferrari red gloss, the only one in Europe. Here is an interesting review I came across the other day about the Lost Round Nose Fish in Aviso Carbon technology from CustomSurfboardShack.
“I recently had a chance to try Aviso’s Lost Round Nose Fish. This was truly one of the most interesting boards I’ve laid my eyes on. For those who don’t know, Aviso boards are hollow and comprised of carbon fiber and epoxy.
