Feedback from customers

It means a great deal to us when we sell a surfboard. We are extremely passionate surfers ourselves and love everything about it, so we put a great deal of effort into making sure you end up on the best possible boards you can. In doing this we have got some great feedback from our customers and want to share some of this here with you.
We found, back in the day, when we started Surfing Europe the more research material we could find and information on the boards themselves helped a great deal to justify a relatively large layout on a surfboard. It was still hard to spend that much money on a surf board but when you see so much positive feedback coming from people who have taken the chance and invested in one of these carbon fibre wave slayers you begin to appreciate that maybe the initial outlay isn’t quite so bad.
After all, these boards will outlast any other surfboard on the market by far and when you find that magic shape you know you have years together rather than seasons or in some cases, weeks! We hope this new testimonials section will help you in your decision making, it will continue to grow as we get more and more feedback, good or bad it will all go in here, helping you to make the best decision you can.

“Thanks for all of your help with both purchases. I was helped out every step of the way and would recommend the team at surfingeurope to anyone who is looking to get a new dream surfboard or wet-suit.
It will be a while before i send you any pics of me surfing on my new board or in my new suit as it is still cold and I’m waiting for conditions to be a little better. I also detest surfing in a winter-suit, hood, gloves and boots. But as soon as i have some I will send them and a review of the Aviso and the Bodyglove ECO suit for your website.
Many, many thanks again
Kind regards”

“Just thought I’d give you a bit of rider feedback so far – both boards have the flex response I’ve been after so I’m pretty stoked.
I borrowed some grub screws from another board but as we both agreed, the 6′4 is too big for me … but fun to ride in O’head Bantham on Friday. Very re-assuring that I could pull in to silly sections knowing that the board is unlikely to come off worse than me.
After 2days of calling all sorts of friends and acquaintances for ‘futures’ I found some and got on the the 6′3 yesterday in knee to waist high crumble – the true test of a board actually – and it all felt very good. I’m still missing the comfort/security of my particular quad set-up but on the whole Doc’s shape had enough drive through the tail to keep me smiling.
General impressions (many of my friends have been ogling over both boards) were very positive before and after some board swapping.”

“I thought you wouldn’t mind me sharing the first impressions of the board with you.
Today was the first day I took the 6′1″ DVS for a ride and I am delighted! The waves were only 3-4ft sloppy junk but good enough to discover that the board floats, paddles and duck dives very well indeed.
Also contrary to some suggestions on an internet forum the board definitely is not corky. I did have a Surftech before and I still remember what a corky feeling is like. I felt no difference in the way the board felt under my feet or during paddling compared to a PU or even an advanced EPS board. In fact it felt much like my 6′3″ Firewire Flexfire.
I was surprised and most pleased with the turning ability both back and forehand though. Very sharp, clean turns with very little effort. Considering the wave quality, well impressed!
I could not comment on the flex yet as the waves were not powerful enough to generate enough speed for good turns. I’m sure it’s there. Perhaps we can leave that feature for the second part of my feedback, ha, ha.
There are a couple of nice swells heading our way over the next few days so I’m very much looking forward to exploring this magnificent looking and so beautifully put together water craft!
Keep well,
Mirx”
